hi. why do i always get a sore upper back/ shoulders after drinking alcohol (the next day) feels like i've fallen and bruised but i have not. ?

Poisoning: Alcohol is a poison that never did anybody any good, ever, so stay away from it.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine, if you are under 27 years of age.

often the whites of my eyes get a yellow tinge to them, i know this is a problem of the liver, and alcohol obviously affects it but it also happens if i havent been drinking. if i go for blood tests will it help find out why this is happening?

See 2 docs: Although jaundice (yellow eyes from liver disease) may be a factor, sunlight exposure and dry eyes can cause actinic degeneration of the sclera (white part of the eye).  This leaves a yellowing called pinguecula. As to jaundice, if liver disease is present, the yellowing can occur without recent (or any) drinking, such as in hepatitis. You should be evaluated by both an internist and an eye doc.

See prior answer: I imagine you are talking about feeling "sore" - bruised refers to hematomas under the skin (black and blue marks) and aren't something you would feel - you are talking about feeling pain. Alcohol can cause gastritis, but this is usually an abdominal pain and not a pain in the "torso." am not sure what you mean by torso since it is more of a term in the art world than a medical one.

Red eye: That is the way you are. Due to flushing (vasodilation) to subconjunctival blood vessel. Use refresh tears (over the counter).  Won't worry if no issues with vision.  Maybe  you wink too much with left eye when having a few drink.

You : You need to either see an ophthalmologist or go to an er asap.  You most likely have a chemical "burn" or inflammation of the cornea and will need topical medication to help it heal and make it feel better right away.  Do not delay.

Red eyes and alcohol: The eyes become red after drinking because alcohol is a vasodilator.  I suggest that you see your primary care doctor in reference to the increased in your heart rate.

Yes: If your liver is starting to fail, you will stop making clotting factors and start to have easy bruising.
