No problem: It's hard to overdose on amoxicicllin, a very well tolerated drug. You could take several doses at once without any problem except maybe some stomach discomfort. Just wait until the proper time of your next dose and then take it as scheduled.

Too much Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate): Nope. He may experience some discomfort in his abdomen and even have some softening of the stool, but not to worry. He should be fine.

Allergic rash: A double dose of Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) isn't harmful if not repeated several times. The higher dose probably isn't the reason for the rash. Allergic drug reactions like rash have nothing to do with dose. Because of the rash (not because of the double dose) you should check with your doctor before taking more. If your doc isn't available over the weekend, probably someone is covering for her, so call today.

No: The extra medicine is not toxic to your child like it would be doubling up on a Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or other med with a narrow safety profile.There may be an increase in the risk of developing diarrhea at higher doses.

Probably won't hurt, but it would be nice to know what's on your or your doctor's mind (if anything...). No sense in taking it that way if you don't need to. That would just lead to a higher chance of side effects, bacterial resistance and environmental pollution.
