: I would ask for a reading by another MRI radiologist and/or your own Dr.

Why was it done in the first place would be a big help. The spleen is in a separate part of the belly and separated from the pancreas. The spleen can move around a lot the pancreas does not move.

The vast majority: of incidentally discovered splenic lesions like this are benign cysts, pseudocysts, or hemangiomas requiring no treatment.  Further evaluation with ultrasound or contrast enhanced CT or MRI may be useful for a more confident characterization of the lesion.  Talk to your doc about it.

See your PCP: your husband needs to be seen and evaluated by his physician and probably needs extensive workup to determine the cause of his illness.

Unless you have: had a recent illness(e.g. mononucleosis) that could explain those findings, unfortunately the main concern for splenomegaly and adenopathy would be lymphoma.  Please talk to your doc about the results and next steps.

Ultrasound character: Hypodense is an ultrasound characteristic that says that the nodule has an ultrasound density that is lower (darker) than the surrounding normal thyroid tissue.  These are the most common nodules seen.  The risk of thyroid cancer is slighly lower with a "hyperdense" nodule, but most hypodense nodules are nvertheless benign.

Low but get checked: The odds are low that this is a cancer.  Less than 10%.  But you should get it evaluated.  The best way is to see an Endocrinologist who 1. understands the issues, and 2. does U/S guided thyroid biopsies.

i had total thyroidectomy.  hypodense nodule right thyroid bed 11mm by 9mm. significance uncertain.  nonspecific lymph nodes. could this be cancerous?

Possibly: The  total thyroidectomy was performed for a lesion in the thyroid that was not a goiter.  That signifies that the lesion removed by the procedure had a potential for malignancy.  Frozen section usually performed would inform surgeon of pathology and as such if Ca, a lymph node dissection would have been performed. If no Ca then any lesion in the bed is benign but should be followed.
