Infections and diet: First make sure you get evaliuated and treated for any possible fungal or candida ,they are common and easy to treat. Always wear Colton underwear and acidophilus and cranberries do help.

They Haven't: Schools continue to teach basic hygiene, the most basic being to wash your hands. They could do better, however, in several areas including how to prevent the spread of the flu and the common cold by sneezing properly.

Diet: A lot of time what a woman eats can affect her vaginal flora.  Also exercise and overall health. If a woman has diabetes, that can affect vagina as well.  Ideally the vagina has a ph of 3.6 - 4.5, the same acidity of a glass of wine.  Lactobaccilli thrive in this environment these are the good bacteria that you want to have. Some women try probiotics to achieve this, either oral or vaginal tablet.

No: For the vast majority of women, these products have more potential for harm than good.  You should be able to maintain your own hygiene and ph without help of pharmaceuticals, however if you're having a problem see a gyn rather than using those products.

i've had 8 episodes of  gastroenteritis after the birth of my son 21 months ago, what could cause this? no one else in house affected , hygene good

Many possibilities: Constipation can cause intermittant diarrhea. Occasionally women develop inflammatory bowel disease during or after pregnancy.  Irritable bowel syndrome can seem like recurrent viruses too. It's best to see your doctor to sort this out.

i was wondering, i have been recently getting a pimple on my buthole and it pops but it hurts trying to pop it. why is there a pimple? i shower every 2-3 days and i have good hygene. i even use wipes when i use the restroom?

Need to be Rx'd: You don't identify a cause. Acne is unrelated to hygiene or lifestyle and only marginally to diet. If you acne is 'deepish', topical rx is unlikely to clear you. If your personal physician doesn't feel comfortable with stronger rx, get with a specialist. All acne can be managed until it remits on its own. Best wishes.

i have had insomnia since i  was 4 years old, i have followed the guidelines for good sleep hygene, yet i can't sleep without pils, is this genetic?

Sleep Study: I would recommend going to see an ENT dr. Maybe do a little family research on sleep disorders especially ffi.

Insomnia ? Menopause: Hi, you don't mention when your last period was.
There certainly is something to be done, since the estrogen level is good, I'd sugg progesterone.  This is Rx'd by gyn, and requires a full discussion re risks/benefits.  Only you can decide if it's worth it.
BTW, if you decide to "wait it out", sx could last 1-20 yrs.

Infection: Get checked as this is possible stph infection which requires antibiotics, do not treat at home because it as already spread to fa e and may result in scarring.
