i had a cold sore 2 months ago .. if i rinse my mouth with hydrogen peroxide and then perform oral on my partner will she still get infected ? ( i suppose that the peroxide would cleanse out my saliva that could possibly still be carrying the virus?

: No data on that-using peroxide. Depends on if you have herpes or not.  Discuss with local Drs and to to CDC.gov and read all about it. Can be transmitted by kissing as well. I would also discuss with  your partner.

No: This will not work.  The only way to get rid of a cold is let your body get rid of the virus that causes it.  Medications treat only your body's response to the virus.

No: This really would not help any respiratory condition.  You need medication for the nebulizer such as albuterol or duoneb.

Accepted Answer

No: Hydrogen peroxide in the ear canals may be effective for wax removal, however has nothing to do with a cold or sinus infection.  The ear drum (tympanic membrane) separates the ear canal from the middle ear and eustachian tube, unless there is a hole in the ear drum.  Remember, you can "spray the front window of the house with a hose, the people in the living room won't get wet."

No it does not: It will probably irritate the lesion even more. The lesion should heal in about 10 days, give or take.

Eustachian problem: This sounds more like your middle ear is filled with backed up mucus. This sometimes happens with/after a cold when the tube that drains mucus from the ear swells shut. Yawning a few times may allow air to enter if your issue is minor. It would likely eventually self heal when the tube swelling disappears. If it persists see your doc.

Mild disinfectant: May be used in small quantities as a wound disinfectant.  Mild soap and water irrigation just as effective for most minor wounds.  Key is copious irrigation with water, i.E "the solution to pollution is dilution".
