Nobody truly knows: Nobody truly knows whether or not there are good or bad effects of Zicam on blood pressure drugs, because Zicam is not an FDA approved medication. It's an over-the-counter item sold with claims of decreasing cold symptoms. Haven't heard of reports of problem interactions between the two items, but there probably aren't any good studies on the issue.

: You must discuss this polypharmacy with your prescribing physician to sort this out. The beta blocker, metoprolol, can cause fatigue. You don't mention the strength and frequency of your dose. HCTZ, a diuretic, can cause potassium deficiency contributing to fatigue. And then there's weakness of heart muscle function, a notorious cause of fatigue&amp;dyspnea . Only your own MD can alter doses of meds

Multiple options: There are multiple options that may help ptsd-related nightmares -- and even though you're on hydralazine, prazosin may still be one of them.  It would require monitoring your BP carefully. Few reasons: It's a vasodilator (dilates blood vessels) and has a couple of common uses

1: it can be used for high blood pressure, although usually not a first choice these days since its dosed frequently when given in pill form.

2: it's used in heart failure. It's called an after-load reducer. Basically makes it easier for a weakened heart (heart failure) to push blood out to the body.

Do you mean dosage?: The normal dosage for adults is 0.143 to 0.357 mg/kg per 6 hours orally to start, then after many weeks 0.143 to 0.357 mg/kg per 6 hours as needed.  If given iv, 5-10mg per 10-15 min to a maximum of 50mg.

See below: Not sure of your question. Those are two completely different drugs used for totally different things. Aspirin is an anti-platelet drug to make your platelets less sticky so they don't form clots in the blood vessels that could lead to heart attack or stroke. Hydralazine acts on the blood pressure, pulse rate, and dilation of the blood vessels.
