what kind of humidifier is good for getting rid of freq stuffy nose?

Don't know if it can: A humidifier has benefits in the winter when the  heater/furnace is used.Without the humidifier, dry heat can cause headaches, sore throats, congestion from dehydrated airways. The house humidity can drop <10%  without help. If the humidity >60% , like your shower stall, you may increase mold growth and create problems from the excess.I've never rec humidifiers for a runny nose, doubt any benifit.

6mo with stuffy nose no fever got flu shot 3 days ago. now nose is super snotty. saline, syringe bulb, vick's, and humidifier are not working.  help?

Stop the vicks: Any benefit baby is getting from your other efforts is cancelled by the vicks. I consider any fume producing material just like cigarette smoke.I never use Vicks under school age. Aggressive  nasal saline wash is your best tool for success.

my husband put bleach water in our toddlers humidifier. she has runny and stuffy nose with a cough and 1 side of my throat is sore. is it the bleach?

Bleach in humidifier: it's possible but should not cause long term symptoms. I would run a cycle or two with distilled water before using it in the room again

Swelling & mucus: A nose gets stuffy because the inside lining (the mucosa) of the nose swells up, blocking the air flow. The lining also oozes mucus, which blocks airflow even more. Stuffy noses can happen with colds, with allergies, or sometimes with no apparent reason. Blowing one's nose pushes the mucus out, but the swelling would still remain.

Neti pots can : Reduce nasal congestion. Mix ¼ tsp salt w 1 cup lukewarm water. More salt can also be used. Place solution in neti pot.  Tilt head & pour solution into 1 nostril. Blow nose lightly & spit out any liquid that drains into throat. Repeat on other side. This can be done in the evening before you go to bed & again in the morning. You can watch a video online to get the finer details down.

Likely to be Flu: Rest, hot fluids, simple over the counter medications to relieve the symptoms is what you need to start with.
If symptoms get worse or goes for long time, you will need to see your doctor for further assessment

Decongestants: For nasal stuffiness due to a cold or other virus, lasting less than 5 to 7 days, you can use oral or topical decongestants such as sudafed or afrin.  If it lasts longer it could be another problem like a sinus infection or allergy, so see your doctor.

Variable: Nasal congestion can be caused by  allergic rhinitis, deviated septum, nasal polyps, common cold and combination of the above. Treatment include steroid or antihistamine nasal spray, decongestant/ antihistamine pills, surgery. See an ENT doctor if problem is persistent!
