Use condoms: You can remove the obvious warts with laser/freeze them or burn them with various chemicals. They can also disappear on their own in time. However, this family of viruses is capable of reappearing anytime and can shed without obvious warts. Condoms can help prevent transmission but is not 100%.It is possible you will never shed virus or have recurrence, but this germ may be with you for life

Possible: HPV is a virus.  It can spread from one area to another with direct contact to any skin or mucosal surface.  The more the exposure the bigger the chances of spread.  There is a good vaccination available against HPV.

: If your partner has definitive HPV, contact will usually be transmitted if the skin is broken (small "scratches" ).  If lesions do appear, see a urologist for an exam and treatment.

Too hypothetical: Just vaccinate everyone eligible. Gardasil-9 vaccine prevents infection from the worst strains of HPV that cause cervical cancer, genital warts, anal warts, and anal cancer due to those strains. The protective antibodies one produces from the vaccine flow in the bloodstream to everywhere. HPV viruses have location preferences, meaning they don't tend to infect locations they aren't meant to be in.

: Most HPV infections are acquired age 15-30, so probably you were infected decades ago. Reactivation so many years later is very rare. If it happens, you might be able to transmit to your sex partner(s), but probably it will never happen. And many partners around your age themselves already have HPV 16 or 18, in which case they are immune to new infection. This is nothing to be worried about!

as i have learned previous anwers there is no possibility of transmission genital hpv by non sexually. i wonder if all environment contaminated by genital hpv? is it possible to get infection by indirectly touching hpv then rubbing eyes?
