my legs knees and feet hurt really bad i can barely walk, i use a crutch for my hip but the legs knees and feet are a new pain, would appreciate any answers?

See a physician: Unless you have a previous problem that explains why you need a crutch for a bad hip, that is reason alone to seek medical attention. The newer joints affected certainly suggests an inflammtory type arthritis such as rheumatoid. At 37, you should not be having these issues and you need to have a full evaluation. Start with your family physician or see a rheumatologist sooner then later.

Most likely, Yes: Exercise has many benefits but it can cause more pain in knees. Cycling and swimming would be better options for you.

Other machines: Some people find the elliptical machine or stationary bike to be easier on the knees.  Swimming is another great exercise that is easy on the knees.

Yes, but: While walking is a great exercise, if the degenerative changes in the lower extremities are severe, a less impactful activity might be less painful. Swimming or cycling might be less stressful to the knees.

Not bad: Clicking of the knees and hip can be due to a variety of issues depending upon the body region. Most often, it is benign, though anyone experiencing discomfort should see a sports medicine physician. You might not be able to prevent the clicking, but a good exercise program balancing flexibility, strength and proper nutrition should help prevent injury.
