Once healed you can resume your usual technique (except in extenuating circumstances), just be smart about gradually increasing weight/reps/sets/intensity--you won't be 100% and could risk injuring other structures if you do too much too soon.  See an orthopedic specialist in your area.

No one knows: I would not worry about using that makeup when you are pregnant. It stays on the skin and it is unlikely that it is absorbed much. However, we do not know for that and most compounds what the effects are in pregnancy and they have not been studied in trials.
