Ant Stings: Fire ant stings inject solenopsin - an alkaloid venom. A fire ant is the gift that keeps on giving – as 1 ant can repeatedly sting you in different locations. Apply a 1 to 1 mix of baking soda & water to decrease pain & reaction. Or try paste of water & meat tenderizer, Benadryl for itching or tylenol (acetaminophen) or nsaid's for pain. Call 911 for allergic rxn.

Many possibilities: What you describe, painful and itching red spots on your extremities, could be related to an allergic reaction, to something you have come in contact with or eaten, or could be due to a viral infection. It is hard to be more specific, but i see you are trying an antihistamine and topical steroid cream. See your doctor soon if these treatments are not working.

Fire ants?: Do you mean fire ants?   What kind of allergy shots are you getting.  Assuming you have taken measures to minimize ant exposure, advise you talk to your allergist.

Use EpiPEN, (epinephrine) go to ER: You may have no problem with this, but if you have an allergy or you think you do, my advice is to get to an er asap.  They will give you Epinephrine so you don't go into anaphylactic shock, which can close your airway and kill you.  After this episode is over, you might want to see your doctor and get an epipen, (epinephrine) which is a shot of Epinephrine you can give yourself quick if this happens again.

Benzoyl peroxide: You may be allergic to benzoyl peroxide, which can happen.  If you've developed a contact dermatitis to benzoyl peroxide that is severe, you'll need prescription strength steroid topicals to apply to the face under a physician's supervision.

Apply a topical cream to ease pain and provide itch relief. Creams containing ingredients such as hydrocortisone.
