For every + a -: You've probably read the stories of one glass of wine or spirits per day does this thing that's great for you.  On the other side of this argument is a body of research that says that no amount of alcohol is ever good.  Use in moderation or responsibly please, but don't expect any "health benefits".

1. Never have a: Hangover.  2. Never have a blackout. 3. Never pass out from alcohol use. 4. Never get arrested for a dui. 5. Never have arguments with your spouse about your drinking. 6. Never get into a drunken stupor. 7. Never become a drunk. 8. Never have to feel ashamed about you did when you were drunk. 9. Never go into withdrawal. Etc., etc.

See/read all below: Most folks drink to get a temporary high/kick from alcohol.But you have to be able to control the amount of alcohol you drink in order to separate the 'good"from the bad. Which is a long list of damagting effects to your organs in case you drink more than 1or 2 drinks/ day.
Liver damage is common after &gt;2 drinks daily or binging weekly.Brain is ruined after some years and cancer is next killer to.

No: Drinking alcohol does not cure anything, and if you drink regularly or in large amounts you actually reduce your body's immune response and may increase your chance of a number of kinds of infections.

Unknown: The actual intake of alcohol during the prenatal period which can result in damage to the fetus is unknown.  There are equally important factors associated with poor diet, drug intake other than alcohol, and the duration of these exposures.  Babies are very resistent changes, but if the mother is a severe drug/alcoholic abuser, it can detract from the ability for normal fetal development..

It depends: Alcohol is toxic to the liver. But liver has good reserve, so 1 or 2 drinks a day is the maximum allowed. Anything more can cause alcohlic hepatitis which over some years can lead to cirrhosis(scarred liver) or liver cancer.

Bad combination: First, alcohol is a depressant.  This amounts to taking a depressant w/ an antidepressant.  In addition, alcohol is a solvent (some forms will take the paint of your car).  Beverage alcohol washes the antidepressant meds out of your body.  Antidepressants become effective by building up to a sustained level in your blood.  If you drink and keep knocking the level down, it defeats the medication.

Serious threat to he: These two can be a serious threat to your life especially if you mix two of them together. Vicodin is a narcotic that will double the effects of alcohol on your brain and togethercan suppress your breathing enough that you may not wake up again.So it is a potentially fatal mixture......So please stay away from it and find something that is safer and does not pose a serious threat to your survival.
