No: Being bilingual ia usually a strength.  Children can learn two languages at the same time without problems.  Though there is nothing protective about bewing bilingual regarding the risk or development of autism.

Increased : It is hard to say exactly  but that is an important discussion.  If either of you have any information regarding any genetic susceptibilities that have been identified in yourselves that should be considered and if not i would consider having some testing done.  The other important issue is maternal age as risk will increase with age.  Take 3 mg folate (folic acid) daily for  3 months  prior to conception.

Discuss with your dr: Autism may begin to show signs as early as 6 months; it's characterized by:
-impaired social interaction (less cuddly, less eye contact, harder to soothe)
-delayed communication (delayed speech, unusual gestures)
-restricted interests/repetitive behavior (echolalia, ritualistic behavior, unusual movements)
it's worth mentioning your concern to your child's dr, as early intervention may help.

Autistic disorders are neurodevelopmental, but still defined as psychiatric disorders.

Routine : Ad kids thrive on regularity and routine.  When this is disrupted, they act out.  If you understand this about their world view, you'll be much more able to accept their idiosycrasies. Don't react to their agitation.  Let them settle into the environment.  Try not to argue with them.
