It depends: A GP can probably handle most of your family planning needs. However, gynecologists usually have more experience with things like IUDs and implants, so if you are thinking about using that for birth control, you may want to see a gynecologist, or a GP/family practitioner that is skilled in those things.

Visit cost: Visit costs are based on your current insurance provider and your agreed copayment or your insurance deductible.  If your are uninsuredand are on a cash basis, the appointment is usually set for a minimum fee that can be agreed upon prior to the visit.  The remainder of the visit cost may be paid at the end of te visit or you may be able to set up a payment plan.

im 27 yes old. just a had baby 10months ago. i started to have stomach problems the beginning of this yr it started mild then gotten extremely worst.  gynecologist said it wasnt the issue now im seeing a g.i. he seems to think its  chocoltis?

: More tan likely, you "stomach problems" have nothing to do with your recent pregnancy or birth.  I have never heard of "chocolitis," but cholecystitis is gall bladder disease and nerves further evaluation by the gastroenterologist.

Now is a good time: At age 23, now would be a good time to see a GYN MD for evaluation. If a woman is sexually active or reaches the age of 18, GYN exams should commence.

It is imperative to develop a relationship with a gynecologist, who can also serve as your primary care provider and advise about contraception, pre-natal care and vaccinations.

Yes: See a nurse practioner at a planned parenthood clinic. They are very reliable and knowledgeable. Best of all, it is not expensive to get care there. And usually they have a doctor on staff or by referral that 
has reduced prices for patients
search on your favorite or google: planned parenthood........

Call: Call  some doctors in your area and  ask if ther accept medicaid.  Many mds will accept a certain percentage of medicaid patients per  year.

OB care: OB care is available a low or no cost through county health clinics, or University associated residency programs.

Gastroenterologist: Or a surgeon, depending on what the problem is. You can start with your PCP to get an idea about what the problem might be.
