i am 25 weeks pregnant and have a low lying placenta. i had a bleed at the weekend, what can i do to prevent this happening again ?

Not a lot: Sometimes the growth of the uterus will "move" the placenta away from the opening of the cervix.  The only way to really "fix" the problem is to give birth.  You just need to be very aware and call your doctor as soon as you begin bleeding.

Not sure: type 1 implies a particular type of diabetes in which insulin MUST be given and the insulin is the casue of the low sugars. The sugar level is a balance between how much sugar is getting in and how much is being stored away. Small amounts of sugar taken in ways that make absorption more gradual (starches/fiber/tough structures) even out the sugar levels preventing it from going too hi or low.

No problem: Hi. Low vitamin D should not prevent you from joining the army. But TAKE YOUR VITAMIN D SUPPLEMENTS! As long as you do, you should be fine.

Iron supplements: Low MCV points to iron deficiency. High RDW points to the body making blood cells at a higher rate than normal. An iron supplement might be a good idea, be it from a pill, diet or both. However, you need to check with the doc who ordered these tests to make sure there isn't something else going on.

Numbers are normal: To prevent diabetes exercise regularly + maintain healthy weight. Screening recommendations vary by group, but general consensus is to screen adults with significant risk factors for disease - hypertension / hyperlipidemia - and those with obesity and another risk factor.  Those without risk factors should undergo screening every three years or less beginning at age 45.
