Unknown;maybe: Many variables;power of the weed, your method of ingestion(a quick toke is different than a concentrated bong hit), suggest a non legal test on urine and see where you are.The conflict between federal and state law makes this hard, and wish i had a better answer.

Be honest...: When you take a drug test, they will ask you to list the medications that you take and have taken.  List the valium.  It is likely to be detected in a urine drug test for 7-10 days and would be much harder to explain if you omit it on your medication list before the test.

Yes show them the rx: they will see the narcotics on the drug screen if they screened for it which they usually do. However, if you have a valid prescription with your name on it you should provide that information to the lab and to your employer.

Avoid abusable drugs: Pre-employment drug testing is done to find out if a potential new hire is using abusable drugs like heroin, meth, cocaine, marijuana, etc... because using such drugs can cause bad events on the job... and get people hurt or killed. It is much harder to decide if a new hire is using versus abusing prescription drugs (one should be ready to explain why she is testing positive, if that happens).

Probably not: if in fact you only took it once - it is short-acting and its metabolites are essentially gone in 3-5 days. Your weight doesn't really factor into it.  However, if you are taking it by prescription, it should not matter unless you are applying for a safety-sensitive position (driver, police, fire etc.). If you are NOT prescribed it, you should NOT be taking it.

Unknown: There are too many variables here. But, i can promise you that the physicians on health tap are fairly unified about illicit drug use and addiction. We do not and will not assist anyone stay in their addiction. We believe in the concept of sobriety and recovery here. If one is using drugs and cannot stop then we can offer them hope and advise on how to meet others in the same situation.

It may: Pre-employment drug screen is usually done on urine and benzodiazepines may be detected for up to a week. However, your employer may not require testing for this drug. If you have prescription for the medication, you should advise your employer of that.
