HSV 2 PAIN: Usually the first episode of HSV2 is the most painful. You should still be on an antiviral  like valtrex (valacyclovir) or famvir. If pain is still present discuss with you doctor a course of prednisone with a taper. You also need a repeat exam and labs to assess your immune system. You should also notify all sexual partners

Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

two times ive gone to the bathroom ive had a clear mucus like substance from my anus. im not experiencing any pain, i do have a hemorrhoid that is external and is almost gone, it no longer hurts, its two weeks old. what could this be?

: Passing mucus through the rectum isn't concerning unless there is copious amount or associated intestinal symptoms or there is a STD  present.  However since you were experiencing anal discomfort an anal fissure may have been the cause. A proctologist is best to evaluate you if anal discomfort or problematic hemorrhoidal symptoms don't fully resolve.

Perianal mass: That would be an unusual color for a hemorrhoid.  While hemorrhoids are a common diagnosis, there are other conditions which could be confused for a hemorrhoid such as an abscess.  An evaluation by a general or colorectal surgeon would be recommended.
