Yes: Keep clean and hygenic in the area of the genitals.  Practice safe sex.  Exercise and eat a healthy diet.  Have a good emotional life.  Avoid tattooing and piercings.  Love the one youre with and vice versa and do everthing to moderation.

Prevention: To keep a healthy male repro system use safe sex practices (i.e., condoms), use protective wear when playing sports (i.e., a "cup") and do not smoke or use any tobacco products.  Eat healthy & exercise to prevent hb pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol.  Regular ejaculation during the younger years can also improve prostate health later in life. And avoid heat: yes. Hot tubs are bad!

No, as I know, but..: Lifting heavy objects should not affect male reproductive health unless one used steroid especially testosterone for body building or someone are born with some weak abdominal muscle which may lead to occurrence of inguinal hernia. Beyond these, it is unlikely to affect male reproductive organs from heavy lifting.

Several risk factors: The medicine can promote ovarian cysts, imbalance female hormones, and affect metabolism of carnitine.  If you were to become pregnant, definite chance of baby having spina bifida, and also mental retardation.  More common side effects include weight gain, hair loss, tremors.  Would suggest meeting with your doctor and discussing this thoroughly.

i spot light pink or brown end of 3rd week/beginning of 4th of cycle since being on low ogestrol past few years. had ultrasound, tests, & reproductive system is healthy. i want to stay low dose on hormones what bc can i use to prevent spotting?

Spotting on bcp's ?: The most common cause of spotting on today's low dose oral bcp's is a failure to take the active pills punctually (within the hour of taking the previous active pill).  If spotting continues, even after very punctual use of the active bcp's, ask your gyn physician to try a different low dose oral bcp. Your physician may also do more testing, as there are other causes for spotting.

34, have occasional pink, red, or brown spotting in weeks 3 & 4 of my period on cryselle, 4 yrs. my dr ran many tests and did ultrasound and said my reproductive system is healthy. why am i still spotting? what birth control can i switch to stop?

Higher estrogen : Breakthrough spotting is a common side effect of most hormonal contraceptives. Occasionally women find that changing to an oral contraceptive with higher estrogen levels or step wise increases (tri-phasil) in estrogen levels helps to prevent the spotting. Talk to your Dr about a potential change in your Oral contraceptive pill.
