Need more info: There is not a very high correlation between the level of amniotic fluid and fetal well-being. If the baby is growing well, moving well, and you were doing well with normal weight gain etc. Then the likelihood of there being a problem is low. You should however discuss the whole range of possibilities with your obstetrician.

Decreases amniotic : Decreased amniotic fluid level most commonly occurs due to rupture of membranes. Other causes can be due placental insufficiency or fetal renal anomalies. Your baby will continue to normally produce amniotic fluid by voiding. So the amniotic fluid does not dry up. Either less fluid is produced or more fluid is leaving than is produced.

Normal AFI:  above 5 cm and below 24 cm -  AFI of 5.1 to 8 cm has been termed borderline, but the clinical implications are unclear, and no strong evidence exists to support additional antenatal assessment of these pregnancies. We manage pregnancies with an AFI of 5.1 to 8 cm the same way as an AFI above 8 cm, without additional testing or hydration. Gestational age is not considered.

Lightning: You are more likely to get hit by lightening than suffering from amniotic fluid embolism.

Polyp/uterine: A uterine polyp is a growth from the lining of the uterus, and is not a threat to a pregnancy in any way, will not "tear or burst", nor cause an amniotic fluid embolism.  Polyps can cause some bleeding when they twist and cut off their blood supply, but are not a cause for concern in pregnancy.

This can be : a concern, your  doctor liklely will follow levels of fluid, if they are worried about it. Also, you need to keep track of movement of the baby, "kick count" apps are available to help you track. If decreased movement let your doctor know.
