Not a problem: I am going to assume you were told that this value is low, and that the units are micrograms of creatinine compared with milligrams of Albumin in a spot urine. This pathologist believes that setting a lower limit on this ratio is silly, as it's a concern only if high. Treat the person, not the numbers. I would not be at all concerned.

Yes: Albumin is a type of protein and eating any protein will increase the Albumin levels but it may take months to get there.

i have a decrease in my albumin level and an increase in my calcium level. my went from 4.1-3.9-3.6 and calcium went from 8.6-9.2-9.6. my esr is 10, hb is 14, mcv is 85 and idh is 129. could i have myeloma?

See below: Decrease in Albumin leads to reduction in calcium, not an increase. There are other causes of increased calcium and myeloma is unlikely at your age. You are obviously under the care of a doctor to have these tests done, it would be prudent to discuss the results with him/her.

If your blood: Tests show it's the correct dose to keep your levels normal, then it will not affect any other tests. If the dose is incorrect, correct it and recheck lab.

Stop worrying : There is no need to treat a lab test result. Actually, a low A/G ratio reflect lowish albumin, which your liver makes for you, and the most abundant globulins are made by your plasma cells instead. If your albumin is not way-low, don't give it another thought. Reference ranges are set so that several percent of healthies fall outside on either end.

Could be normal: I need to see the type or types of globulin that are elevated, each type, if elevated has a different group of diagnoses associated with it. If you only had one type tested, you need to get a set of quantitative immunoglobulins measured, and reviewed with an ID doctor or your internist. Exposure to mosquitoes is usually not  a cause for worry, but if you are febrile or have symptoms, see a doctor

had a blood test to follow up on my liver enzymes. noticed my calcium level increased from 9.3 to 10.2. read that raised levels of albumin can increase calcium levels slightly, is that true? my protein level also increased from 6.7 to 8.1?

: Your Calcium level, although fluctuating,. it is still in the normal range. You are right that blood protein levels can alter the values.
I do not think there is anything wrong( with your test results), they are in the range of values which we use for a normal test result.
If concerned you can get the serum Calcium rechecked. Unless the value goes up above 10.50, I would not be worried.

Increase albumin: To increase your Albumin you need to ingest protein.  You have certain conditions, such as cirrhosis of the liver and you may not be able to increase it. How low is your albumin? Do you have a gastroenterologist (g)? If you do, see the g. Good luck.

See below: Low albumin per se would not cause death. There is a very small number of near normal people with congenital absence of albumin. It is the cause of low albumin, e.g., cirrhosis, nephrotic syndrome, malabsorption or malnutrition that would be the cause of death.
