hi, i have had an upset stomach, headache and general fatigue for about 36 hours. it is improving, i have managed to eat a little bit, taking panado and fluids. do you suggest a covid test as these are my only symptoms?

COVID 19 concerns: COVID 19 GI symptoms:  loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort and diarrhea. Suspicion for COVID 19 is higher if you have at least 2 of these symptoms: temp of at least 99.6, Cough, Shortness of breath, Chills, Shivering, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat or new loss of taste or smell.

Please see doctor: "stomach pain" can be caused by lots of things &amp; may indeed originate outside the GI tract. Further evaluation is in order before anyone can answer "what to do."  your doctor will want to re-examine you as well as know the quality, timing, duration, location, &amp; associations (eating, position, activity, stooling, urinating) of your pain to better direct the next appropriate testing.

See answer: There are many "family" remedies for many illnesses and boiled eggs a for GI upset is one such example.  Similar to taking "coke syrup" or flat cola. Some people with gag at the thought of eating a boiled egg, and will only worsen their GI upset.  If the GI upset is caused by a common virus, best to avoid solids, increase fluids for 24h, than slowly increase soft "brat diet" foods.  Good luck.
