Accepted Answer

Yes, it is possible!: Typically long legs & large feet go with tall stature (like puppies with big paws) but not 100% of t he time.  I do have a few patients with big feet who aren't tall.  When  the shoe size gets larger than 13,  it becomes harder to find shoes in stores and you often have to search on-line & can be more expensive,  hopefully they don't grow too large!

Accepted Answer

Unlikely : Only a chromosome test can fully diagnose Kleinfelters, but the adolescent males in my practice have all had small, soft testes with good body hair and penile size. Body shape is often familial.

True.: Unfortunately, after your growth plates close in your bones after puberty you will not grow any taller.

Accepted Answer

NO, however...: Yes, you have stopped growing, as all men stop growing at age 18-21 (and women stop growing 2-3 years after puberty). Once the growth plates on your bones chose (as yours did many years ago) it is impossible to grow any more.
However, some people can appear to get taller by improving their posture. If you are a bit hunched over then standing straighter will make you appear taller.

my question is why do i get taller when im suppose to not grow anymore i dont understand i feel like my legs are getting longer and i notice a change in height i read all things said yu cant grow at 29 but i still get bigger?

Thought issue: If you are getting taller at 29 you may have a worrisome defect that could be life threatening so a consultation with your doc is a must. If your docs evaluation finds you are not taller, you need to explore why the perception is present. Our brains can allow us to believe many things that may not be true.

Don't think so, if..: Don't think that surgery to correct bowed legs would automatically increase one's final legs length, unless special leg lengthening apparatus was put on both legs to intentionally make the legs longer. First, to find out if any correction is even needed, one should visit two orthopedic surgeons with experience in bowed legs correction, and compare the 2 opinions.

Is possible: Surgery can be done to correct the more severe cases of bow leggedness. Correcting the problem and getting the legs straighter, plus the extra blood flow to the bones during healing, may make one slightly taller after recovery. If planned ahead, some patients undergo leg lengthening, using external frames screwed into bone, that can stretch legs 1mm per day for months, up to a few inches maximum.

Taller & Thinner.: If you've completed puberty you aren't likely to grow taller.  Girls complete puberty by ages 15 to 17 & for boys it is by ages 16 to 17. However, if one enters puberty late, they will usually also complete it late. Our height is largely determined by genetics (our parents' height).  If you are healthy (no unusual causes for stunted growth/ smaller stature) then there is not a way become taller. &gt;.

Height: at your age, it extremely unlikely that you will get any taller than this. Your growth plates have closed. For varicose vein, it mostly has cosmetic effect rather any medical problems with them

No: If we are talking about a total knee replacement, the size of the implants is determined by your anatomy, ie the size of the bone and dimensions of the soft tissue. In simple terms, the size of the metal and plastic inserted is determined by your anatomy. Trying to put in larger parts than what your body can accept will result in stiffness, pain, and dysfunction.
