Burp!: Or you can try over-the -counter gas-x which is simethecone which breaks apart the gas bubbles making them less painful! also avoid foods that make it worse.  And, don't chew gum, that makes you swallow quite a bit of air.

Normal: We usually swallow some air when we eat/drink.  It's normal for it to be there.  We get rid of it by moving it on (into the small intestine) or burping it back up!  risks:  none other than gas pains.
