Start with 2 prunes/ 4 oz prune juice in the morning and increase the amount daily until you have a soft stool. If watery stool, reduce the dosage. It can take 1-5 days. Anti-inflammatories: If there's no contraindications and the diagnosis is correct, anti-inflammatory drugs may be very useful. Check with your physician but using the appropriate doses and frequently enough and making sure that there's no adverse effects like G.I. upset, bleeding, fluid retention, kidney issues, or hypertension are important.   Ibuprofen, Naproxen or even high dose aspirin.  Coordinate with your doc.

Many many treatments: Elevated the head of your bed. Don't eat for 4 hours before going to bed. Liquid antacids like mylanta help. Chewable tablets  like Tums (calcium carbonate) and rolaids are convenient. Histamine 2 blockers like ranitidine or Famotidine are available over the counter. Proton pump inhibitors like Omeprazole are also available otc.  If these don't work, you'll need to see your doctor.

See a cardiologist: You need to be evaluated by a cardiologist, for your mitral valve prolapse and the chest pain you have, to make sure it isn't your coronaries, at age 51 many things can cause chest pain unlike age 15, good luck

For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

thus reducing the amount acid BURNING your esophagus! This esophageal pain is felt as CHEST PAIN since the esophagus runs thru the chest!

Palpitations: Tachycardia can be because of anxiety or if your asthma is not controlled. Using the inhalers can also cause it. If it persists or is happening frequently at rest then it needs to be evaluated further with ekg, physical exam and labs.
