No: If you truly have a urinary tract infection, whether bladder or kidney, you need antibiotics to cure it. You can try to flush it out w/lots of water. Some try drinking lots of cranberry juice to change bladder environment but once established, you need antibiotics. If you keep getting utis, need to look for reasons why. Consider urine culture to help choose antibiotic. Also consider std/sti.

Some anecdotal...: Some have claim for years that cranberry juice could help fight a UTI due to changes in your bladder tissue that do not allow bacteria to grow as they need to. However, there is no clear scientific prove of this. Many healthy people's bodies fight the infection on its own but that is impossible to predict so in order to avoid complications antibiotics are recommended if having symptoms of UTI.

Hard to say: You have omitted important data. Circumcised males rarely have UTI's, uncircumcised males would have their 1st before 2 months of age. Either would also have fever.A 10 mo old falls into the developmental stage where they have anxiety around strangers and fear separation.At this point I would visit with his doc to rule out a treatable problem.

Kidney stone: Pictures are not visible on the forum. Taking the stone to your doc for analysis will help in deciding about diet changes and the right treatment going forward as the tendency to form kidney stones will remain, hydration helps for all otherwise.

: No male should ever attempt to "live with" a continuing UTI; there would be dangers of a serious confirmation or even kidney failure. We have previously discussed the possibility you have NGU, not UTI. Weak action: Cranberry juice is a weak UTI preventative and virtually of no use in treating an active uti. Most utis burn themselves out without medication, as used to happen in olden times before the advent of antibiotics, unless there is a structural abnormality of the urinary tract. Drinking plenty of liquids and a short course of antibiotics are best weapons against utis.

i went to the er bec i was feeling hot temp was 100.5 and i was cold. i am currently 3 months preg and they said i have an uti. today went to follow up and now they said there was no uti n trying to fight the uti got a yeast. can i use monistat??
