how to drain a ganglion cyst at home?

Draining a ganglion: Is simple if you are trained to do it . Don&#x27;t let the seemingly simple way in which an experienced  surgeon addresses these fool you.  Complications including infection, bleeding nerve and tendon irritation joint  swelling all can occur if you don&#x27;t know what you are doing. Better not to rely on luck and let it be a simple procedure in the hands of someone skilled.

Excision I hope : They need excision as the origin is deep and comes from a joint so the base needs 2 b identified and closed. A simple aspiration or drainage will lead 2 recurrence.

No sooner No later.: The only thing that's "needed" is that you feel comfortable with having the cyst removed. If you have no discomfort, then have it removed when you're ready. After all, the cyst will probably still be there when you are ready.

Synovial fluid fills: Ganglion cysts. These are fluid filled sacs and synovial fluid is what lubricates the joint, fluid enters the cyst through a tiny attachment from the joint and makes the cyst large . This is why activity or force seemingly makes the ganglion larger as more pressure in the joint leaks into the cyst. Typically it's a  like one way valve into the cyst but they can drain back  so they go up and down.
