Ignore "pop" advice: For your acne, topical benzoyl peroxide and/or retinoic acid. If you're not clear in two weeks, phone your physician. All guys lose the hair on our temples at age 20 or so. If you're naturally hairy-chested you're likely to have more hair loss; ask your physicain about meds. Other hair loss calls for a thyroid blood test and check for telogen effluvium etc.

Mildest that works: Glad you're asking about scientific rx. Acne is a serious chronic disease that can have a devastating, lasting effect on a teen. For an adult, something as simple as a maintenance dose of tetracycline or (if confined to the face) even just topical clindamcin and benzoyl peroxide may be quite sufficient. For really severe disease, don't hesitate to use Isotretinoin if it can be done safely.

: If still on steroids discus with Dr. If not discuss with a Dr who can examinee you before spending you money. They will know least expensive test to rule out Cushing's disease(s).  Saliva is used here.

Antiandrogens: Antiandrogens are used for acne, pattern hair loss and unwanted hair all the time.  The one I use most is spironolactone.  It works well for many women.  With spironolactone, care must be taken to avoid extra potassium intake and pregnancy must be avoided when on any antiandrogens.  Spironolactone may have some side effects such as irregular menses, breast tenderness, but is usually well tolerated.
