Too late : Plan b emergency contraception can be used after unplanned intercourse but needs to be used within 72 hours. If intercourse was 18 days ago its too late. You can take a pregnancy test now though. If you are pregnant it should show up by now.

Should be fine...: A pill doesn't change in a noticeable way over just 5 or 6 days, so there won't be any noticeable difference compared to a pill that is a week younger. That means the pill one has should be just as effective and have the same level of safety as a week ago. However, since it is past its expiration date, one can call her pharmacy for a refill as soon as possible.

There are no days: There are no days to avoid pregnancy when you are having unprotected sex.  No one can predict when you will ovulate or how long sperm can survive in your vagina.  We only have estimates.  Unprotected sex also leaves you open to an STD such as HIV/AIDS.  It is not worth it.  Please always use protection (condoms).

Oops, too late: None of the "emergency" contraceptives will work this long from possible conception.  Vitamin c will not prevent conception, implantation, or the persistence of pregnancy.  At this point, all you can do is wait to see if a pregnancy test is positive. If so, then you will have decisions to make about the pregnancy. If not, then please consider using effective contraception from now on.

: If this was the only sex, (you are not the woman and how do you know she did not have more sex) pregnancy is very unlikely.
Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully.

Recommendation : Take plan B pills as directed on package. No needs for 2 pills from BC pack. You should be ok. 12 days should work.

Be patient: It is unlikely that you are pregnant since you took emergency contraception correctly.  It is too soon to test and so any pregnancy testing will have been a waste of money and invalid.  One messes up their cycle with they take emergency contraception.  If a few more days go by and you still want to test then that will be fine, but not now.  Remember birth control is wiser.

: Your question not clear. If you had sex since your last period, do a home pregnancy test. If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully.
