Food triggers: Food like caffeine in coffee , tea etc, MSG, soy protein , theophylline, estrogen aspartame, cured meat can trigger a seizure.

: That sounds good to me unless you have history of seizure disorder.
If you are still worry you can taper at a slower pace, 0.25 mg every other day for 10 days, then 0.25 mg every three days x 3 times then stop.

Complex situation: Numerous developmental problems of the brain are tied to having seizures. There's no known way to PREVENT seizures (except taking medication) since  malformations can't be reversed. I'd suggest simply advise to follow all doctors' advice, go to all followup appointments, take all medications for seizure on time, and nurture the baby. could i start taking tamazapam avoid benzo withdrawal because i've taken 5mg of xanax (alprazolam) for 18 years i have bad seizures after about 48 hours it's bad?

No: Temazepam, in my experience, would not be a way to avoid withdrawal symptoms, including seizures, that are experienced with a sudden discontinuation or significant decrease in xanax (alprazolam). To my knowledge, the only way to avoid these terrible effects of Alprazolam withdrawal is to extremely slowly taper the dose over several months while also taking an anti-seizure medication.

take klonopin (clonazepam) in the am and pm but need it more for the mid afternoon.  can i move my pm dose to the mid afternoon and avoid seizures from withdrawal?

Should be okay: Clonazepam sticks around a while - its "half-life" is &gt;20 hours. So half the drug is still around 20 hours after taking it. Thus, changing the dose timing like that should not cause a withdrawal seizure.

I assume you are not taking this for seizures. Please be careful in general taking scheduled clonazepam (or other benzodiazepines).

i've never had a seizure & don't have family history of epilepsy, but i avoid potentially seizure inducing visuals. is this a totally irrational fear?

It seems a bit: irrational to me. I'm not sure if there are visual that could cause a seizure. Consider talking to a psychologist to understand why you are so concerned about having a seizure so that you can get over this fear.
