3 months: There are no clear rules on when to stop pills before trying to get pregnant. At least one cycle probably makes sense to see if and when you may ovulate. Many people take pills to regulate their cycles in addition to contraception. Stop the pills, wait a month to see if you get a spontaneous period, then start trying after that period. If you don't get periods or are not regular, see your doctor.

Birth control pills: If you were pregnant, usually you would not have bleeding during the pacebo week. However, it is very common to have light bleeding in early pregnancy, so sometimes this can be deceiving. 
The pill has a failure rate of about 9% - meaning about 9 out of 100 women who use it each year will get pregnant. You may want to consider a more effective method like an IUD or the implant.

Probably not: It is not likely that taking birth control pills will improve your fertility.  It can take a normal couple up to 18 months to achieve a conception.  Be patient, but if you have been ttc for over a year it is reasonable to see your ob/gyn for an evaluation.

If you're pregnant: Stopping birth control doesn't cause symptoms.  Normal menstrual cycles can cause symptoms that can mimic pregnancy--premenstrual breast tenderness, bloating.  Do a pregnancy test.  If you don't want to be pregnant, choose a different method.  If you do, take prenatal vitamins with Folic Acid to lower the risks of birth defects.

Pregnant any time: Besides abstinence, no other birth control method is 100%. The chance is small, but you can get pregnant while on the pills, iud, Depo-Provera injections etc. In general, the longer you have been on the injection, the longer time it takes to normalize your system and increase chances of pregnancy. So, if are now trying to get pregnant, have fun and good luck. It may happen tonight!  :-)).

Birth Control Pills: If you are planning to get pregnant, being on the birth control pills will always be a barrier,  things that may affect when you get pregnant may be how long it takes for your cycles to return after stopping the pills, whether you have other factors that would affect you getting pregnant and whether your partners sperm count is normal.  If all is okay, you should get pregnant within a year or less.

Depoprovera: Most women are able to get pregnant within 18 months of stopping the shot. The range is usually from 4 months to 18 months.
