See your gyn: sometimes if you have a cyst on your ovary, you can experience intermittent torsion(twisting) that can cut off blood supply to the ovaries and cause pain. 
It can eventually become severe and warrant emergent surgery. 
A gyn exam plus ultrasound can help provide assurance that your pain is not secondary to an enlarged ovary.

If it is starting to become unbearable (for you or your loved ones), it may may be the more severe form pmdd (premenstrual dysphoric disease).  There are good medicines for this, but you would need to see a professional to have them prescribed.

Hello. : Hello. Failure rates for tubal ligations can vary a little bit by procedure. It can be 0.2 to 0.4% around year one and 1.8 per 100 procedures at the 10 year mark.  So, your friends are correct.

Yes: Having your Fallopian tubes cut and tied off on each end does not affect the hormones that maintain and promote pregnancy.  Tying tubes prevents the egg released at the time of ovulation (fertility) to travel down to the uterus where it would "meet" the sperm and them embed in the uterine wall. A fertilized egg could be implanted in a uterus with tubes tied and all would be fine.
