Several days: Nicotine is more slowly absorbed and may accumulate a bit more in people who use smokeless tobacco, but in general it will remain detectable as cotinine in urine for 3 days or so.  While you might not get the lung problems, the cardiovascular problems and (especially) head and neck cancer (mouth, lips, tongue, pharynx, larynx) are greatly increased in those who chew or dip. Please quit asap!

See below: One puff of cigar would not introduce too much nicotine into the body. A person could absorb as much through passive exposure to cigarette smoke.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.
