Best idea. TaperSSRI: The best idea is to briefly go back on the ssri you were on at a lower dose and taper off before trial on inositol.  Call your doctor to discuss treatment.   Please know, stopping ssri suddenly can be very dangerous.

In the US, supplements are not regulated by the FDA, so safety is NOT 100% reliable for anyone consuming over the counter supplements, unfortunately. Zoloft (sertraline) and tramadol: Concurrent use of tramadol and Zoloft (sertraline) has two implications 1. There is increased risk for serotonin syndrome- severe and much less common side effect from excess serotonin. A medical emergency, it is rare. 2. The tramadol is less effective as a pain medication with concurrent use with SSRI

No: L-theanine raise dopamine and gaba in the brain not serotonin. Taking Zoloft and Lexapro (escitalopram) together can cause serotonin syndrome. I see you are taking Zoloft and Lexapro (escitalopram) together. Consult to your prescriber if you are taking these two medications  i mean Zoloft and Lexapro (escitalopram) together.

Withdrawal: Which one do you have withdrawal? Withdrawal is a common reaction when stopping these meds. It is best this is lower the dose slowly. Ask your doctor for help don't do it alone. You have to accept the withdrawal as you lower the dose as a passage towards and better goal. Klonopin usually has some serious effects when stopped but then other medications in its class.  Speak to your doctor.

odd issue. what could potentially cause ssri/snris to either metabolize incredibly rapidly or not absorb at all?long story short, for 3 yrs my meds have caused me to withdrawal while taking them daily. ive tried multiple. much more to explain?

: Absorption of meds from the stomach is influenced by many things-amount (dose), time ., foods, fluids, metabolism absorption , transit time etc.  So ask and follow your docs instruction and if you have any other health issues she/ he should know and does not fill them in. Good luck

Discuss with doc : Your doc knows you. Usually isn't a big deal. In general id start tricyclics along with ssri and then wean off of ssri, serotonin syndrome unlikely, discontinuance sx most common with Paxil (paroxetine) which is a more potent ssri, .

Taper: It is recommended that one not abruptly discontinue Lexapro (escitalopram).  One should taper off of the medication.  Discuss a discontinuation schedule with your treating doctor.

Possibly: Stopping an SSRI can be very challenging for some and it is very important to have close monitoring by a doctor of any symptoms that develop. It needs to be done slowly and each person's characteristics can make a difference. It's worth doing but it must be done carefully. Don't try to handle it alone - you want the doctor to be responsible for these decisions. Glad you're better now!
