i had to fast for a blood work but i drank a glass of metamucil fibre will this effect the test?

Depends: It depends on the type of Metamucil you took (regular bs sugar-free) and what you mixed it with (juice va water). And it depends on the blood test that was being collected. If you took regular Metamucil mixed in juice it will affect your blood sugar, but not your blood count, liver tests or electrolytes.

Miralax (polyethylene glycol): constipation is common and a frustrating symptoms
it is defined by more than just frequency of stools.  if stools are not hard and no straining than going several days is not the issue.  if you have symptoms though I would try miralax (polyethylene glycol) (its otc), plenty of water and regular exercise.

Metamucil: Better at night with a full glass of water.  As a laxative, expect results by the end of the following day.  Also, night time is when the body produces cholesterol.  Psyllium, the active ingredient in metamucil helps to reduce cholesterol.

Difficult to test: A 43 yo would like to know how to test for allergy to metamucil. There is no standardized test for this rare allergy and in general medication allergy (especially rare allergies) are hard to test. I am not sure what the symptoms of your allergic reaction are, but you should see an allergist for further evaluation. The allergist may be able to perform a prick to prick skin test or oral challenge
