how many times can a disposable razor be used before throwing it away and using a new one?

Razors: There really isnt any set amount of time a disposable razor can be used.  Once the lubricating strip starts to wear away and the blade dulls it is time to get a new one.  A dull blade will feel like there is much more resistance as you shave and instead of shaving hair you may feel it is doing more to just pull it out.  This can lead to more irritation and ingrown hair.

im tunisian i shave my bikini line 2-3 times a week as got a boyfriend&i get bad red razor bumps please recommend something that i can use that works?

Stop shaving: If you get razor bumps from shaving, it is important that you stop. There are some over the counter cream that can be used  without having to resort to using a razor. Try the cream on a really small part of the inner aspect of your thigh or arm first to make sure you are not allergic to it prior to using on larger aspects of the body. Use OTC cream for bumps if no infection

can i clean razor blades with isopropyl alcohol? i bought gillete mac 3 disposable razors. should i throw that razor away or use it till it's dull ?

OK to keep using it: Disposable razors are designed and intended to be used repeatedly until they become too dull, and probably almost all men do it that way, without cleaning or disinfecting them. If you have no obvious skin infection in the shaved area, and if the razors are not shared with other persons, there is no health risk.

when i open my bowel it feels like razor blades passing  and theres a smearing of blood on the tissue not much. its happened 4 times now.

Irritation: Your bottom sounds irritated/inflamed.You may have an irritated hemorrhoid or some other type of irritation.This requires an examination that will lead to a diagnosis and then a proper treatment to resolve this problem.

i accidentally used my sister's razor few times. what infections are spread by using someone's razors? i have cin1. is there a risk it is transmitted on  the razor?

Some basics: The cin1 you may have would not be from a germ the razor could pick up &amp; pass. Such germs as hepatitis B might be passed if the blade were bloody with infectious materials but not the germs of HPV that only inhabit the genitals &amp; are passed through sexual contact.

the hair in my genital part has grown a lot more than normal as i used razor 3-4 times there long back.is there any way to get back to normal state?

Laser: There are laser therapies available, but most people are scared.  It also depends what color your hair is.  If you have blond hair, then you're not going to get good results with laser.  There's also waxing, which pulls hair from its roots.  I don't know of any other solutions...

i have gad so i become obsessive. i recently got razor rash /follicicitus after shaving with a razor. i bought a topical cream which cleared it up. why is my testicles and abdomen paining. i examined my penis prob 30 or more times daily. bruised it?

See GP: Abdominal pain has to be evaluated timely and the fact that you suffer from GAD is not helping as your compulsions may obstruct you from thinking clearly. Starting with your GP would be best as he or she will be aware of your preexistent ailments.

hi i get razor burn and ingrown hairs from time to time. i shaved my pubic region friday and noticed light bleeding in two spots at the top of my vulva where the hair is near where it folds and has lots of moisture. i had sex a few times over the weekend

Needs to be seen: Lumps, bumps, blisters and other skin abnormalities on the genitals need to be evaluated. An examination will be needed to know the cause and treatment. Folliculitis is one possibility. Yeast is a possibility and over the counter fungal cream will fix it. Trauma from recent intercourse if possible. Herpes is an std which can cause this. Other possibilities too. Schedule an exam or a virtual visit

You just have to...: ...Try various ones until you find one that is compatible with your individual face. Many of my patients have good things to say about the fusion razor, the one that is battery powered. (no financial interest.) but you'll have to use trial and error to find the best one for you.
