i take 10mg of norco/day. i break it up into quarters; 2.5mg 4x day. if my last 2.5mg was wed morn at 6am, will i test pos for hydrocodone by fri?

went to er last night for stomach pains. they did tests&came back normal.they gave me norco 5mg. im nauseated. i have zofran (ondansetron) can i take it with norco.

Side effects: Patients frequently have to take medications like Zofran (ondansetron) due to the side effects of the pain medication. You certainly can do this as well.

Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen): The likelyhood of you showing Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) in any manner is 0 unless you are injesting the drug yourself. Is it possible that you may have taken it by accident?  Are your med bottles close together. The only way it would show up in your blood, urine, or hair follicles is if you personally have injected it.

Maybe: Often these test just report a drug is present or not.  There are some companies that will quantitate and report  the amount of drug in the hair which may suggest that someone takes more drugs than prescribed.

i take atavain and norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) tramadol motrin and an anti depressant dailey and it did not show up on my drug test for my dr. now she won't refill any of my prescriptions?

Interesting: If it didn't show up on your drug test, then that means you aren't taking them.  If you aren't taking them, then to her that means you aren't using them and may be selling.  Hope this helps you understand why.

: Remember it is a narcotic. But probably no harm in trying if you have not had allergy to it or been addicted.  Should only be use for severe pain.  Discuss with local pharmacist and go to drugs.com for more info.

is it okay to take robaxin (methocarbamol) and norco together?

Accepted Answer

Yes: Norco is a combination of hydrocodone and acetaminophen.  Robaxin (methocarbamol) is a muscle relaxant.  They can be taken together.  However, when taking together, you might experience more drowsiness.

Norco/tylenol#3: The time difference is only 2 hrs - the answer is no.

: Probably. The time for 1/2 to leave your system is ~4 hours and a full 4 of these "half lives" for most to be undetectable in your blood.

: I would go to Drugs.com and enter both meds and all others you are taking into their interaction checker and see.  The 325 is aspirin.  And then discuss with you Dr who will know your kidney and liver function.
