Very unlikely.: 1 year of smoking should be resolved.   I would not expect any deleterious effects on your treadmill performance

Relax.: Let the pediatric cardiologists evaluate your newborn's heart with echo before freaking out; a large heart may be nothing but a variation of normal.

Heart harm ?'s: Pressing on breast may cause bruising on breast tissue, but will not affect your heart.  If the EKG was normal with maximal pulse effect based on your age, the testing will be classed as normal.  Otherwise, subsequent discussion with your cardiologist is in order.

Allow the doctor to see a dynamic picture of the structures of the heart and how well they work( valves and chambers).Ecg is an interpretation of the intrinsic electrical activity of the heart. Use to diagnosed heart attacks and arrhythmias

Some, not all: The echocardiogram gives good pictures of the heart valves and the functioning of the heart muscle.  It will detect valve problems and poorly functioning heart muscle.  It does not evaluate all of the heart - it is not useful for evaluating the electrical function of the heart (arrhythmias) and not the best test for looking at the coronary arteries. Hence an ECG is useful as well as stress test.

my transthoracic echo came back great , should i still get the other half(thread mill) of stress test done? couldn't do at that time.

Probably: It's impossible to know for sure since we don't know what's going on with you.  If your cardiologist thinks you need a treadmill test, you probably do.  Congratulations on your great echo, though!
