Unpredictable: You need your thyroid and prolactin  checked.  If preg test is negative, you then take progesterone for 7 -10 days.  If you bleed after progestrone then you likely have PCOS--a condition that decreases your ovulation.
Best to see your doctor!  Don't go for months and months with no period---not good!

Now: Metronidazole had nothing to do with getting pregnant. As soon as your Mirena (levonorgestrel)  was removed you return to your normal fertility. Pregnancies have occurred in as fast as 7 days.

Baby won't be: If I have reason to drug test your newborn I can find any drug exposure back to about 20 wks. Your pee would be clean, but that is not where I look. If you are on the Child &amp; Family Services watch list,have suspicious visitors or other factors that raise concerns it will be found. You need to be up front with your doc so they can help you &amp; baby.

This is not that there was a problem this represents you wasting money on a test that would be invalid and naturally negative.  As the new fetus grows and begins to share chemical and blood with the mother then a test will turn positive. You are pregnant.
