Extra Claritin (loratadine): If you are in generally good health with normal kidney and liver function, and you are not taking other sedating medications, there are not likely to be serious consequences.  The worst you might experience would be excessive drowsiness, sedation, etc  so don't drive for 24 hours.  Also do not consume alcohol or take other medications that are CNS depressants for 48 hours.

Possibly: If you have allergies, you should really see an allergist for a detailed treatment plan tailored to your needs. Otherwise, otc antihistamines can be tried but Claritin (loratadine) is the weakest antihistamine out there. Try something like fexofenadine or cetirizine, both are stronger though they tend to cost a little more.

Ok to stay: If Claritin alone controls his allergies, it would be ok for him to continue on it.  On the other hand, I suspect that it is only rendering his symptoms more tolerable since Claritin does not decongest the nose.  A nasal steroid usually works better.  If symptoms remain uncontrolled with nasal steroid. consider seeing an allergist.

Yes: Adding Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is fine. If your allergies are out of control you might want to consider adding medicated nasal sprays to your treatment regimen. Consider seeing an Allergist so that you can get better relief. Skin testing to determine sensitivities to indoor and outdoor allergens is useful. If you fail both medications and avoidance measures you might want to consider allergy shots.

can i take tylenol (acetaminophen) sinus congestion with claritin 24 hours?

Yes : You can take both medications together,  pls make sure that you take no more than 3000mg per day. Any decongestant should be used for short period of time only to avoid rebound congestion,  watch out for dryness if prolonged use of antihistamines like claritin (loratadine). Pls see your dr if symptoms persist after a couple of days. Hydrate well.
