It depends...: Stress fractures of the patella or the groove in the femur are relatively uncommon. Healing time depends on many factors: severity of the fracture, age of the patient, compliance with rest and immobilization and whether other negative healing factors are present (smoking, diabetes, etc.). Generally speaking, 8-12 weeks would be typical time for healing.

how long does a tibial stress fracture take to heal &without pain. i have a knee brace that i am suppose to wear full time. hurt it ~6 weeks ago?

It most likely takes: About 12 weeks at least. Once it has healed, the pain should disappear as well. Sometimes they take longer.
Talk to your surgeon who is treating you as he has the benefit of examining you and having the xrays to confirm that healing is progressing or not.

Stress fracture: A knee injury or weight gain alone won't cause a metatarsal stress fracture.  What they will do is put added stress on the foot/feet.  Overtime, if nothing changes, stress fractures can develop.

Need follow up ASAP: I am not sure I completely understand your question, or when your fibula fracture occurred. 
 if you had this leg fracture related to a “cyst”, I would want to make sure you don’t have sarcoma, or any other type of bone cancer.

i had a stress fracture of the femoral medial condoyle with severe edema. i used a waker 10 weeks to put minimal weight and now am using a knee brace at times; sometimes a cane. walking with no aids at all feels uncomfortable. what should i do?

: You need to report back to your doctor. The fracture should have healed(under normal conditions) within that amount of time. (6 weeks). You should make sure fracture has healed and not displaced. Rehab is what is required at this time.

Determine the ethiol: First the ethiology of the swelling need to stablish may not have anything to do with the stress fx.And it could be that the force needed to stop the swelling will require higher mm hg.

That is not : the typical location for a stress fracture.  It may be a ligamentous injury(MCL).   See your doc for an evaluation.

6-8 weeks: A fracture usually takes 6-8 weeks to heal, but there are many factors that can slow this down.  Smoking, use of certain medications and excessive motion can all slow down the process.  Nothing you can eat or srink will speed the process, but quitting smoking, avoiding Ibuprofen or Naproxen and proper immobility will help maximize healing.

Depends: It depends if the kneecap is a displaced vs nondisplaced fracture. A nondisplced fracture will heal on its own. A displaced fracture may require screws to approximate the kneecap and to heal properly.
