Post svt ablation: Rf  ablation requires a process of maturation wherein aberrant conduction that have been treated require a few weeks before they cease to conduct.   During that maturation time frame  the risk of recurrent arrhythmia remains.  Many patients might benefit by continuing rate /rhythm protective meds for the first few weeks following ablation.  Hyperadrenergic  stimulation might provoke such events.

Ablation: Ask the ep doc, for ablation in a patient with good cardiac function, fairly rapidly is possible but if the rhythm is a bit unstable after the procedure the ep might prefer the patient wait a variable period before resuming to let lesions heal.

After Ablation: You need to wait 10 days because you don't want to get excited and do any kind of activity that would raise your heart rate. You just had a procedure done were radiation was used and you typically want to stay away from small children and small pets for at least 3 days. You have to consider yourself radioactive for the first few days.

after the nova sure ablation, when can i have sex? my nurse said 2 weeks, my doctor said 3 then on my discharge papers it said 6 weeks?  i didn't have a baby or a hysterectomy!

2 weeks is fine: Usually after an ablation i tell patients to wait until the discharge stops or 2 weeks & then only if they feel comfortable. You're right, it's 6 weeks after a vaginal hysterectomy. You are free to have intercourse much sooner, remember the ablation is not birth control so make sure you can't get pregnant!

Clarify: It is unlikely that you had a hysterectomy and endometrial ablation done at the same time. Do you mean hysteroscopy? If so, it's probably safe.

After 5-6 days: If it is okay to o Pilates after 5-6 days, sex would be okay too.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

i had a radio frequency ablation procedure to treat varicose veins in my leg a couple of days ago and im scheduled for 5 more procedures over the next 5 weeks. how long would i need to wait to have sex or masturbate after the procedure(s)?

: You can have sex or masturbate when you feel like it. Just be careful not injure the area affected by the treatment.
