No: The ANA testing is mostly used as a screening test for autoimmune disorders and not specific for any disease in and of itself.

Tests: Some tests have to be sent to a special outside lab to get done and this accounts for the extra time.

: There are a number of diseases that can be transmitted via oral sex and they have different incubation periods. If you're concerned about this girl's status, go to a men' s sexual health clinic for evaluation, advice and testing.

Try a sex therapist: to see about what may cause this very quick response and release.   Normally, I'd get a Hx plus refer to an MD for a general physical.   Then, I'd look at anxiety, drug use and overall psychological orientation to sex.   Read Master's and Johnson, Kinsey reports, Helen Kaplan.

Depends where: Doing the test itself is fast but unless your doctor is processing blood work in the office it probably is being referred out to an outside lab company. Doing a urine test is much faster and can detect pregnancy with a  BHCG of &gt; 20. This means it only misses pregnancy in the first few days after conception

i had a light case of shingles in my hair at age 43. my doctor said get shingles vaccine at 60 for longer results and protection at older age. should i get it earlier? i am 57 now?

: If you're looking for protection for shingles complications that are more of a problem later in life, get the vaccine after age 60 as protection may wear off for your later years and when you need it most.

Time: If we consider legality, it is mandated that abnormal results be notified to physician? It is his priority to notify you, the pt. Some tests do take time if complex. Talk to your dr. If delay.

No...but: There is a new drug called xarelto which is a new type of blood thinner (a factor xa inhibitor). It doesn't require blood monitoring if kidney and liver function is normal. Ask your doctor.

Healthy hair: Get adequate sleep,avoid excess sugar &amp; fat, v carbonated drinks, eat enough protein, exercise regularly. Insure you have adequate Iron (like kale &amp; other dark green leafies), Omega 3 fatty acids (like walnuts),vit.E (fruits &amp; veggies), D &amp; B vitamins, biotin &amp; zinc. Avoid sulfates &amp; formaldehyde in shampoos, excessive blow dry heat &amp; curling irons.
