Too many calories: If you are not losing weight, then you are still eating enough to satisfy the body's energy needs. Every person's metabolism is unique. Keep cutting back on portion sizes and eating frequency and eventually the body will be forced to burn fat to survive. There are no shortcuts. This is the only way to lose weight and it always works. It may seem like you're not eating much, but scale doesn't lie.

No: Salmon is rich in desirable omega 3`s and is an excellent source of protein. It`s a lot healthier than eating red meat 5 times a week.

Uncooked salmon: Was is lox (brined salmon)? If yes, you are probably fine. Was it flash frozen sushi ? If yes, you are probably fine. However, eaten fresh uncooked salmon could lead to infection.

Not certain: Raw  fish in sushi has to be frozen before being served in restaurants (FDA requirement).  You may have to wait and see regarding eating this sushi.  You may do just fine but if not seek medical assessment. Take care.

The pathway of least resistance is out the back of the knee where a cyst forms.
