The strips fall off: The strips(plasters) will fall off themselves in 5-6 days. This area of skin(face) heals faster than other skin areas of your body.

i had a partial hysterectomy +- 3 years ago. 3-5cm of my uterus removed due to non stop bleeding. therefore i can no longer have babies. with today's technology. is this able to be repaired? stitched up and sealed to be able to have kids again?

Evaluation: You will need to see a reproductive endocrinologist who can read your operation report, evaluate the pathology report and do a sonogram to determine what amount of uterus is left. They may consider other testing to determine if pregnancy is possible.

Most often: It is either slightly uncomfortable or there is no discomfort. Occasionally there is pain if the sutures were left in too long. Usually it is pretty easy and painless.

NSAID: Usually that is not a significant source of pain. However, if it is really bothersome than consider use of acetominophen or a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory. Acupuncture can also help.

Uncertain.: Many dissolvable  sutures dissolve in 7 to 10 days but that can be variable. We don't know where your sutures are or what type of surgery you had. Ask your surgeon: You should have received wound care instructions and activity restrictions from your surgeon.  Every surgeon tends to have his own specific post op care routine that can vary from patient to patient for several reasons.  I do not have enough information to guide you appropriately.

60 days: Vicryl completely dissolves in 60 days.  When you can eat again depends on what surgery you have had.  That question should be answered by your surgeon.

You can't: It depends on location of wound. If incision is on the legs and were recently removed its better to wait until the incision is sealed and water tight. Even though the stitches were removed the strength of the underlying tissue woud not withstand significant shear force.

Ok to go: Stitches are only removed when the wound has healed adequately that there is little risk for reopening. The face is a relatively low stress area of skin and you should be fine to workout if the wound looks closed. If you're engaging in aerobic activity within a week of stitch removal, i recommend wearing an absorbent bandage to absorb sweat away from the scar and use plain lotion after shower.
