Herpes simplex: This is highly variable, as is the duration of active lesions.  If they are not going away within a week or two of disappearance of the symptoms, check with your doctor and have them examine these.

Yes: Gradual resolution, but possible recurrence of shingles or cold sores!
The virus is active and surfaces periodically.

Never for sure: There is no way to tell for sure. Some people shed the virus all the time, even when they do not have a cold sore, while cold sores are most contagious when they are oozing fluid, the virus can be transmitted to others even during times when you have no blisters.

when i take a shower, i touched an cold sore with scab cover caused by hsv in lower leg (which is also strange for me. i dont know how i caught it in the lower legs), and then use the hand to clean my penis and glans. will i got genital herpes?

: I know of no HSV infection that would appear on the lower leg. Without having a good idea of what that sore is from it is difficult to speculate where it could transfer.

Not as only symptom: Scabs alone, without prior blisters, sores, etc, almost certainly are not due to herpes of any type. Of the 3 main herpes infections, herpes zoster (shingles) would be the most likely and would start with painful lesions then scabs, on only one side of the scalp. Herpes simplex virus types 1 or 2, the causes of oral and most genital herpes respectively, would almost never involve the scalp.

do i still need to be on valtrex (valacyclovir) once the herpes blisters turned to scabs?

Herpes simplex: Probably not, unless your doctor intends to prophylax you against future outbreaks.  Talk to them and find out why.

i have a rash on my inner thigh. it is unilateral, not painful, not itchy but has come up with lesions and scabs. herpes? or something else?

Herpes? Shingles?: If "lesions" means blisters or sores and rash is recent (a few days) and not long lasting, I would be more suspicious of herpes zoster (shingles). Genital herpes also is possible. Or a simple allergic reaction, or any of several other kinds if dermatitis. Earlier makes diagnosis easier and is very important for successful treatment of either herpes or shingles, so see a doctor ASAP.

i recently had some weird red spots on my penis head like dry scabs and just there. i looked up herpes pictures and it looks nothing to what i have.

Penile lesions: Herpes usually presents with vesicular rash commonly referred as blisters. Those are usually painful and the skin they crop on is somewhat red. Dry lesions are not herpes but need to be looked at to establish the diagnosis.

Likely allergy: If it itches, it is more likely to be from an allergy= most likely contact allergy.  I suspect that some oral preparations may be the cause. Consider consulting an allergist.

Healing herpes: Sometimes redness from skin inflammation or infection can take several weeks to months to resolve.  Unfortunately there is no good way of shortening that time.
