Bands slip: A gastric sleeve is a procedure where you remove 80% of your stomach making it into the shape of a shirt sleeve (hence the name). So there is nothing to slip. A gastric band on the other hand can slip. It is usually the result of a hiatal hernia that causes the slip. A slip can usually be fixed by repositioning the band, although sometimes the band has to removed.

1/2 a cup of food: Should eat 4oz meals at a time. This way you don't vomit or feel sick. Should eat this portion size at every sitting. If vomiting then eating to fast and taking to big of a bite.

Depends..: What you can eat depends on how far out from surgery you are.. Every surgeon has a different protocol for advancing diet after surgery. However, once you are several months since surgery you can eat pretty much whatever you want. Just a lot less of it.

At this point: Most surgeons including myself recommend waiting about 4 weeks prior to exercising after major surgery. Keep in mind every one is different so you really should just call your surgeon to confirm if it is okay to start exercising. Incidentally you are 1 month postop so you should be following up with your bariatric surgeon anyway.

Banana stomach: Basically we take your stomach from the size of a football and cut in down to the size of a banana. And throw the excess stomach away. The sleeve has an expected weight loss of about 60-70% of your excess weight at about 12-18 months.

Gastric sleeve: We can not answer it for you without knowing your bmi, your other co existing conditions like high bp, diabetes and others and your family history
you should get educated about the procedure, talk to the surgeon and ask all the questions about what kind of results you will achieve and what the side effects are and do your own research about the procedure and the surgeon.

Band to sleeve: It is acceptable to have a revision from a band to sleeve gastrectomy or gastric bypass in a single stage operation. I routinely perform this. However, it really depends on how difficult the band removal is and how much scar tissue is present. There are times where i will choose to only remove the band and do the sleeve or bypass at a later date.
