: You do need to have a bacterial and fungal culture done soon please as does your partner .
Appropriate therapy then plus the use of future emollients pre sexual activity

While I don't think: this happens to everybody, it isn't terribly uncommon. Certain individuals, especially those susceptible to eczema, have sensitive skin. Numerous irritants/allergens can be found among plants, weeds and grasses. Best option: wear protective clothing including gloves (vinyl), long sleeves and pants tucked into socks. Apply OTC barrier cream/lotion with quaternium-18 bentonite where exposed.

Ask your Gyne for : help or examination, so that the right treatment can be provided. Depending on what it is will determine treatment. Can be due to candida, other infection, lice, ingrown hair, hypersensitivity to feminine hygiene product or douche agent, or even reaction to detergent used to wash underwear. Hard to tell without being seen first.

Nonspecific: Physical exam is key.  There are several conditions that can cause similar symptoms.  Yeast infections, like candidiasis,is one of them, allergic rashes, such as hives, sometimes even a mild bacterial infection could cause these symptoms, and some viral infections could also cause this. So basically it could be any of the above.  Seeing your primary care doctor would help get a diagnosis and tx.

Have it evaluated.: It is possible that there might be a small smoldering infection in the center of that lesion. Either way if it will not go away then see your dr. As some skin cancers may present that way and can be treated easily through excision. Have it evaluated.

The random rash can: Be difficult.  How long has this occurred? Your description makes it sound like a new problem, full body.  Any new medications? If not that u may be coming into contact with something "contact dermatitis".  There is a condition called idiopathic urticaria where people break out due to stress.  Try behadryl at night and Claritin (loratadine) with a med called tagamet ( also blocks histamine) during the day.

Hyperkeratosis: When skin thickens on the elbows and knees it gets bumpy, rough and sometimes itch.  This is best treated with a skin exfoliating cream.  There are over-the-counter creams with 12% ammonium lactate to start with. However, sometimes you may need a prescription cream to help those really stubborn spots.

Lots of ways: You can use the liquid nitrogen, liquid nitrous oxide (this is what i like to use), topical acids, dermal scraping. You can also try oral cimetadine (400 mg three times a day for 12-16 weeks). This is very safe and had the side effect of getting rid of warts for many people of adult size and weight (japma november 1, 1995 vol. 85 no. 11 717-718 ).

Need more info: There are  lots of conditions that will do that.  Need to know the time frame and temporal evolution of the bumps then pallor and size and texture would be most helpful.  Pictures would even be better.
