Very few symptoms: Small genital warts have few symptoms, so many women don't even know they have them, unless the warts are on the outside and the women can see or feel them. Warts on the outside (vulva) can itch sometimes. Warts in the vagina and on the cervix are unknown to the women unless the warts are bigger and/or get irritated by sex. Warts shouldn't cause an odor, so an odor may be due to other reasons.

: HPV or genital warts do not cause irritation or itching. Vulvar irritation may last a while after successful yeast treatment. The doctor's exam may have stirred up such symptoms but probably is not the cause.

have had hpv gardasil shot when supposed to,  now 23 years old.. havent had sex without a condom in over 4 months... wart-like bumps appeared on outside of vagina (outer skin) last week.. could this be genital warts?

: Hard to know. The HPV vaccine (Gardasil) prevents infection with the two HPV types that cause 90% of genital warts -- but that still leaves a fair chance of infection with another wart-causing HPV type. Condoms are not very effective prevention against HPV. See your gyn or other doctor for evaluation of the bumps. Good luck.

Here are some ...: Genital warts are painless and boil is hot and painful. Reviewing detailed history &amp; conducting physical exam with inspection and palpation should lead to correct diagnosis with no confusion.

No that I'm : Aware of. Douching on the other hand can some time lead to other problems.

Viral infection: Warts are a viral infection. There is no dated that this approach may help cure HPV. You need to discuss with your gynecologist so you can have the best clinical approach

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you. Structures that look like skin tags are normally present at the vaginal opening. The tags may or may not have stalks but do not get crusty. Lesions that are crusting warrant exclusion of herpes.
