Long time in hair.: Marijuana crosses the placenta and has untold effects on the developing brain of the fetus. Nobody has studies these effects in detail, but they may not be severe. Thc can be detected in hair analyses from newborns weeks after maternal use.

Not sure: I'm not sure this question has been studied -- given that you'd have to expose a group of fetuses to a potentially damaging drug to find out.  Main problem is that fetal brains are not well developed, and more vulnerable to toxins than the mother's brain is.  The mom might feel thc is just fine for her, but her baby is not able to deal with it as well. I would imagine it remains at least 1 month.

my friend is pregnant and she 28 weeks. she had been complete stress from job , daycare , lack of support . she only has been using thc for couple weeks heavy she due 12/3/21 . whats best support can i provide she concern about passing to fetus?

: She has passed it to her fetus. The sooner she quits using weed/THC, the better. She has to be willing to receive the support from you or other social welfare organizations. If you can arrange for her to see a doctor, it would be helpful.

Single use Marijuana might be detected in urine for 1 to 7 days (or more) and regular marijuana use can be detected in urine for 7 to 100 days (longer periods have been reported though).

Single use marijuana can be detected 12 to 24 hours in blood. Regular use marijuana can be detected for 2 to 7 days in blood. Marijuana regular use detected in hair for months. Single use might not be picked up in hair.
