Meh..: Not certain at all for a 10 month old.  I sure would like to get a good look at this.  What does your pediatrician say? Is it worsening? How are his fontanelles looking? Still open? Where is his crib positioned in his room? Can you passively move his head and get full range of motion?  If this is a positional deformity, then plastics referral may be in order.  Demand answers from your caregivers!

No: The cranial bones of an infant are not fused together, which allows for expansion as the brain grows. Because of this a helmet can correct a deformity in an infants skull. By the age of 17 most skull bones are fused and immovable.

It will improve: Some flattening is normal at this age and will resolve as the child grows.  I recommend watching this and discuss at your next visit with the pediatrician. By the time they are walking, this will be resolved.

Rotate Baby: Discuss with pediatrician, but the best way to avoid this is to not let the baby sleep on its back all the time. Once swaddled you can rotate baby from side to side to minimize the flat head.

Tummy time...: In order to avoid flat head due to constant laying on back it is recommended to give tummy time to the baby while you are watching few times a day for a few minutes. Make sure you are closely supervising the baby and don't leave him(her) alone while the baby is on his(her) abdomen. When leaving the baby alone in his(her)crib ALWAYS put the baby to lay on back.

Flat head: I myself have a flat head. The shape of the head should not change at your age (it changes in the first two years of life) and it will remain the way it is. As long as the size of your head is normal and there are no other symptoms, no interventions are necessary

Pretty much: This is our standard of care for a baby to reshape head.  Keep in mind she's up and around much more than she used to be so this may continue to improve on its own.  What does your pediatrician say about it? Are her fontanelles still open? A plastics referral may be in order.
